STUDENT LEARNING AGREEMENT

1. Driving Licence. You must hold a current, valid driving licence (either provisional or full) which must be produced in advance or at the beginning of the first lesson and when required by myself. You must inform me immediately of any motoring convictions you have. You are liable for any motoring convictions gained whilst driving in a lesson or test.

2. Fitness to drive,- your eyesight will be checked before your first lesson, you must be able to read a car number plate from 20 metres with glasses or contact lenses if necessary. You must notify me immediately if there is any change in your eligibility for a licence, or if you are no longer fit to drive, whether due to deterioration to your eyesight or otherwise.

3. Comfort and safety. In the interests of comfort and safety you are advised to wear suitable footwear and clothing which does not restrict movement. You must take note of any medication which may affect your ability to drive, and inform me accordingly prior to taking any booked lesson. For your safety I reserve the right to cancel any lesson if you are or I suspect you are under the influence of drugs or alcohol. If this occurs the full lesson fee will be charged.

4. Payments and cancellation. Fees are payable at the start of the lesson. If you need to cancel or rearrange a lesson you must give me 1 working day (24hrs) notice. If you do not give the required notice you could be charged the full lesson fee. If you do not show for your lesson I will wait a maximum of 15 minutes before leaving. If this happens the full lesson fee will be payable.

5. Please check my availability before booking any practical test.

INSTRUCTOR LEARNING AGREEMENT

In this learning agreement, ’I’, ‘me’ or ‘my’ refers to tamworthdrivingschool. Driving Vehicle Standards Agency Approved Driving Instructor number 253693

 

1. General Conduct- I will always be courteous, polite, tidy and punctual. I will also behave in a professional and ethical manner at all times. My car will be well maintained and clean and tidy. It will also be fitted with dual controls and properly insured as a driving instructor’s vehicle.

2. Qualifications. I am a properly trained and fully qualified driving instructor and DBS checked.

3. Punctuality- I will make every effort to arrive on time for your lesson. If I believe that I may be more than 5 minutes late, I will (where possible) contact you either by phone or text to inform you. If I am late, I will make up the time at the end of the lesson or the next lesson by mutual agreement.I will do all I can to make sure lessons start and finish on time. I do reserve the right to cancel, postpone or change lesson lengths and start/ finish times under certain circumstances (eg Adverse weather and sickness). In the event of any postponement by me, all fees paid in advance will be carried forward.

4. Driving Test I will do all I can to ensure that your driving will safe without supervision and meet test requirements. If, however I feel that you are not of the required standard then, in the interests of safety, I reserve the right to withhold the use of the driving school car for test.
